Might!!!

Might is a band hailing from Albany which includes a fucking menagerie of "ex-band-members". More or less, these dudes have played with or in every Albany band ever in one way or another. What I'm getting at is they're talented and seasoned dudes.

The reason I got into them is because they sound like a more "thrown together" version of one of my favorite Syracuse bands of all time (Spark Lights the Friction). But that novelty aside, there's a lot more to it than that. The band (even though sounding strikingly similar at times) is miles apart from SLTF. Melody with obvious punk and early 90's rock influence. The music is a mix of 7 seconds and Superchunk. The vocals just come out of left field, but after a while you find out this dude has some fucking range.

Isn't much more to say, aside from this band has no place to go but up.
Let's just hope they keep it up.

I'm posting the myspace and not uploading a demo because the CD's they had when I saw them were 2 bucks and had 10 songs. Suck it up and shell out 2 bucks, it's well worth it and hasn't left my car stereo all week.
